I was waiting for my to go order from Condado so I thought I might as well give them a try. The shop was clean and quiet. I kind of felt like I was interrupting the employees time. They seemed ready for a break or to close shop, but they were respectful. I got a donut for my son, my mom, and I. They didn’t have many options as it was the end of the day. The taste was hard to describe, not bad but not good either. Idk it’s like it was missing something but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I’ll give it another try whenever I’m up that way!

Limited donuts but great flavors! Ordered a brown butter 🧈🤎 donut which was truly amazing; it's a semi-dry almost biscuit-like base with a to-die-for glaze, YUM, perfect with coffee. Also ordered a strawberry 🍓 speciality donut, missed the name but was pretty much an apple fritter. Love the idea but a bit too sweet, wouldn't order that one again personally! Staff shoutout: there were two rude ladies in front of me, rude to the other guests, the cashier, and the server - both employees remained very kind and honestly went above in service to make them happy.

Ordered the pistachio latte and the cereal milk latte. The pistachio was a 10/10, super good. Got the Neapolitan donut which i had high hopes for, but was disappointed in. The flavors clashed and it had a weird consistency, maybe because it’s vegan 😓. The dulce de leche donut was very good and soft.

Hello SUNSHINE and Salty Donut deliciousness ! These are truly the best donuts I have EVER eaten! Such a great place to chill in the morning with a coffee and a donut. Donuts are great but WHAT??? A donut that is combined with a croissant?? Mind blown and taste buds happy! Do not miss this place if visiting the Queen City! Come in early because they sell out fast!!

We had lunch nearby and noticed the sign, so I said to my husband, “Let’s go to The Salty for a donut and a coffee.” Two of the young women working were polite, but the one that was maybe a manager or key holder seemed unfriendly and made me feel like I was a bother. As someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with local businesses, that was disappointing. We really enjoyed the pistachio cannoli donut—it was delicious and definitely the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the drip coffee was not good at all. My husband and I have tasted thousands of coffees during our travels, and this one was overwhelmingly bitter for our taste. We rarely ask for refunds, but this time we did—and I was glad we were still at the register when we tried it. I hope this review doesn’t deter others. Sometimes an off day is just that—an off day.
